Keepsafe Apparel designs & style fit for international branding

“Keep Safe!” Two words that largely define the present time, which is another word for “take care” or “protect yourself”.  This general saying gives new meaning to the world of clothing and style. Mr. Jayson D. Sy, proprietor of Keepsafe Apparel Co. shares his beginnings of the business and how it turned out to be a story of success.

Keepsafe Apparel Co. started on November 11, 2018. The owner of the said brand is Mr. Jayson D. Sy. All of his peers started their clothing businesses and he was left behind so he decided to build his own clothing business as well. The other reason is because of debt. He pawned his vintage caps and can’t return the money on time so he used it to build his own brand instead and finale be able to pay the said debt.

Asked about keepsafe apparel’s advantages when it comes to business competitors, “I think what makes Keepsafe Apparel a cut above the rest is the passion of its owner. The owner gives his best effort through brainstorming ideas for the designs of each product. Another thing is that Keepsafe Apparel dreams to be an international brand so the owner started to introduce a wide variety of products that include tees, hoodies, caps, bags, socks, air freshener, and stickers. We are also planning to introduce sandals too” quipped Mr. Sy.

Keepsafe Apparel aims to be an international brand and seeking opportunities overseas is never out of sight in their agenda. With their unique designs and style that fits today’s generation, Keepsafe Apparel is indeed ready to conquer the international stage of clothing and other accessories.

Lokal Dynasty Clothing has quality comfort and design for all kinds of sports activities. Take a peek of our interview with one of its owners.

Paolo: Tell us about the brief history of Lokal Dynasty Clothing.

Ace: It started with two individuals from different locations with the same mindset. One coming out of a 16-year employment as an OFW and the other was still employed to a 9 to 5 job. We were both looking for an opportunity, a way to provide more for our families while enjoying ourselves at the same time. MJ had an idea and I thought it had a good chance to succeed. When the opportunity presented itself, we grabbed it whole heartedly. From then on we started brainstorming every night at MJ’s house taking our plans into fruition. Of course there were struggles along the way. The first 3 months was the real test for both of us. We encountered some failures along the way. Mistakes were a common occurrence every day, and pressure was building up as time goes by. But we never gave up because the two of us thrived under pressure. Giving up was not an option. Sabi nga “we eat confidence for breakfast lunch and dinner” and that was our recipe. I can’t say we are successful right now, but we are comfortably living our lives the best way we can.

Paolo: What do you think are your advantages over your competitors?

MJ: Angas, Goodvibes and Pure Hustle. We came from the streets. We know what people want, and we gave it to them with full effort. We have the street smarts and alam namin kung pano makisama sa mga tao, kahit sinong tao. We’re hands on too. We don’t rely on other people. Both of us rely on ourselves and the love for what we do. We are proud that we came from the streets. We are proud that we’re called the underground kings. Pure hustle walang swerte. We are proud of that mantra for this kind of business.

Paolo: What are your future plans for the business?

Ace: Lokal Domination plain and simple.

For quality designs and comfortable sportswear, Lokal Dynasty Clothing is something to look forward to, more so that the summer season is coming and a lot of recreational activities are just in our midst.

Adobo Mix Plate: A resplendent and unique mix of Asian cuisine

We Filipinos are definitely adobo lovers and it has been proven that even around the world, we Filipinos are lovers of this viand dish. Though Adobo Mix Plate, one of the newest casual dining restaurants in the city is named after this very Filipino dish, it offers a lot more as it is in fusion with Korean and other Asian dishes that can cater to various customers.

We recently visited this restaurant and their staff was warm and very accommodating to us. The restaurant seem to have planned their menu very well as a lot of their dishes have something new and extraordinary, it even feels like you’re already in a Manila-based restaurant. We loved the “hugot lines” wall design and the ambiance of the place.

We enjoyed reading all the jokes posted on the wall as we wait for our ordered meals. We definitely love their Adobo sa gata chicken and pork, since I am a lover of ‘gata’ foods. We also tried their Kare-KAre Lechon Kawali and  their Korean Barbecue where we cooked it in a grilling pan. It was such a great dining experience we had at Adobo Mix Plate, and I’m sure you too will enjoy it especially food enthusiasts.

Adobo Mix Plate proprietor is Ms. Gemma Quitain. Their first store opened on December 8 2016 in Brgy San Ignacio, San Pablo City while their San Roque branch opened last August 3. “I  think our advantages to others are the food and service we offer. We offer the traditional Filipino food and Korean dishes. We are able to make it on trend while serving it in a traditional taste. We also make sure that we serve with Love, that’s why both of our stores have mural paint saying ‘adobo is love’”, quipped Ms. Quitain.

Adobo Mix Plate is located at Maharlika Hi-way, Brgy. San Ignacio, San Pablo, City (Beside Shell Gasoline Station) and Lynderson Arcade, Brgy. San Roque, Maharlika Hi-way, San Pablo City. For inquiries and reservations, kindly contact them at 09369635138 or 5238064.
